Welcome to Iqra College Of Education

Iqra College of Education (Estd. 1992) is located at Iqra Nagar, Shirsoli Road, a suburb of Jalgaon city. Iqra B.Ed College was started specifically to cope up with the shortage of trained Urdu teachers, and to fulfill the ever-growing educational demand of minorities of the district. Iqra B.Ed. College offers Urdu as one of its methods, and therefore holds a unique position in Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

The college campus, Iqra Nagar, is a spacious and airy place, measuring 11 acres. The college has its own building, having the various facilities required for the B.Ed. course. Hostel facilities for boys are available in the campus. Hostel facilities for girls are available in a nearby residential area. The College has an approved principal, along with qualified staff, to teach the different subjects. Proper guidance in lesson planning and in other curricular activities is given personally by the method masters in their various subjects

  • To inculcate moral, social, cultural and scientific values among the pupil teachers.
  • To develop creativity and skills among the pupil teachers to enable them towards effective teaching.
  • To impart the skills of using latest technologies in the teaching-learning process.
  • To arose the feeling of national and social responsibilities among the pupil teachers.
  • To prepare competent teachers for fulfilling the needs and requirements of minority schools / institutions
